Establish the fit. Then agree the terms.

CEOBuySell’s role is defined for each engagement: introducing parties, representing a supplier or coordinating preparation and licensing. We do not assume unlimited rights or collect entire systems by default.

  1. 01

    Describe the opportunity

A business describes its records, or a buyer sets out a requirement. No system access or raw export is needed for the initial enquiry.

  2. 02

    Review authority and restrictions

Establish who can grant the required rights, existing licences, confidentiality duties, personal-data considerations and any sector-specific restrictions. Access alone is not proof of licensing authority.

  3. 03

    Scope preparation and assessment

Agree which records would be considered, how they would be prepared and reviewed, who would do the work and what it would cost. Any access or sample requires an appropriate agreement first.

  4. 04

Qualify the buyer and intended use

Match the requirement against the potential dataset. Establish training, evaluation or other purposes; source and recipient restrictions; quality thresholds; and any need for a separately protected evaluation set.

  5. 05

    Agree the commercial licence

Document records, recipients, purposes, retained rights, term, exclusivity, onward use, security duties, acceptance and payment. Do not assume that a licence expiring automatically ends all model use.

  6. 06

    Deliver, verify and manage changes

Supply only the agreed package through the agreed channel. Check acceptance, record the release and handle corrections, updates and deletion obligations according to the contract.
